Terms of Service
These terms explain the agreement between you and QuranLearnify when you book a free trial, enroll in a monthly plan, or use our website. Please read them alongside our privacy policy and refund policy.
Our Services
QuranLearnify provides live, one-on-one online Quran and Islamic studies classes, including Noorani Qaida, Quran reading, tajweed, hifz, tafseer, Quranic Arabic and the Ijazah program, taught by certified teachers over video call. Classes take place on Zoom, Skype or Google Meet, using a video calling account you already have or can create for free. By booking a class or enrolling in a plan, you agree to these terms.
Eligibility and Enrollment
Our classes are open to students of all ages. Where the student is a minor, a parent or legal guardian must create the account, provide accurate information, and remain responsible for scheduling, payment and communication with the teacher on the student's behalf. Adult students may enroll directly and manage their own account.
Free Trial Terms
New students receive 3 free trial classes with no payment details required. The trial is intended to let you assess the teacher and course before enrolling. We reserve the right to limit the free trial to one set per family or student to prevent misuse.
Plans and Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly, in advance, in US dollars, at the price shown on our pricing page at the time of enrollment. Plans automatically renew each month unless cancelled before the next billing date. You can cancel, pause or change your plan at any time from one billing cycle to the next. Family discounts, and any change in class length from 30 to 45 or 60 minutes, are reflected in your next invoice once agreed with our team.
Attendance and Rescheduling
Classes should be attended at the scheduled time. You may reschedule a class free of charge with at least 2 hours' notice. A class missed without notice is considered held and will not be made up. If your teacher misses or is late to a scheduled class without prior notice, that class will always be made up at no extra cost.
Teacher Assignment and Changes
We assign a teacher based on the student's course, level, language and time zone, and normally keep the same teacher for every class for consistency. If a teacher becomes unavailable, we will assign a suitable replacement and, where possible, offer a trial class with the new teacher to confirm the fit.
Conduct
Students, parents and teachers are expected to treat each other with respect during classes and in all communication with QuranLearnify. We may suspend or end an account for abusive behavior toward a teacher or staff member, or for repeated policy violations. Teachers are expected to arrive on time, prepared, and to conduct themselves professionally with students of all ages.
Intellectual Property
Course materials, lesson plans and content we provide remain the property of QuranLearnify and are for your personal educational use only. They may not be resold, redistributed or used to build a competing teaching service without our written permission. The QuranLearnify name, logo and branding are our property and may not be used without consent.
Class Recordings
Classes are not recorded as standard practice. Where a recording is made at a parent's request or for a specific support review, it is used only for that purpose and is not shared publicly or with third parties.
Communication
By enrolling, you agree that we may contact you by WhatsApp, email or phone about scheduling, lesson notes, progress reports, billing and account support. You can ask us at any time to change how we contact you or to stop non-essential messages, as explained in our privacy policy.
Service Interruptions
Occasionally a class may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as an internet or power outage, a video platform outage, or a teacher's genuine emergency. In these cases we will reschedule or credit the affected class rather than treat it as held, and we appreciate your patience while we resolve the issue.
Limitation of Liability
QuranLearnify provides educational classes taught by qualified teachers, but we cannot guarantee a specific learning outcome or timeline, as progress depends on attendance, practice and individual ability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the plan in question.
Termination
You may cancel your plan at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period. We may suspend or terminate an account for non-payment, misuse of the free trial, or a serious breach of these terms, with notice where practical.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to QuranLearnify's place of business, without regard to conflict of law principles. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time as our services grow or legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page shows the last revision, and continuing to use QuranLearnify's classes after an update means you accept the revised terms. Significant changes affecting active paid plans will be communicated to you in advance.
