Teach Noorani Qaida, Quran reading and tajweed to boys and men of all ages in live 1-on-1 online classes.
Online Quran Teacher (Female)
Teach Noorani Qaida, Quran reading and tajweed to girls and women of all ages, including young children.
Hifz Teacher (Hafiz / Hafizah)
Guide students through daily sabaq, sabqi and manzil memorization routines with structured weekly revision testing.
Quranic Arabic and Tafseer Teacher
Teach Quranic Arabic vocabulary and grammar, and explain Tafseer in clear English to adult and teen students.
What We Look For in a Teacher
We hire carefully because families trust us with their children's Quran education. The list below covers the minimum we expect for every one of our four open roles.
- Ijazah in recitation, or a degree in Quranic or Islamic sciences.
- Fluent spoken English, so you can explain rules clearly to students and parents.
- Stable high-speed internet and a quiet room to teach from.
- A laptop or computer with a working camera and microphone.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience, online or in person.
- Availability during US or UK evening hours in your time zone.
What a Week Looks Like as a QuranLearnify Teacher
Most teachers set a fixed weekly schedule of one-on-one classes, often the same slots each week with the same students, so both sides know exactly when to log on. Between classes, teachers prepare the next lesson, write short notes for parents and, once a month, complete a brief supervisor check-in on each student's progress. Many teachers combine this with another job, university studies or family responsibilities, choosing a handful of hours a day that fit around their life rather than a rigid shift.
From Application to Your First Class
1. Application
Submit your details, qualifications and a short message about your teaching experience.
2. Recitation test
A short recorded or live recitation assessment to confirm tajweed and pronunciation.
3. Teaching demo
A short mock class so we can see how you explain concepts and manage a lesson.
4. Background check
A standard background and reference check, required for anyone teaching children.
5. Training
Online teaching training on our platform, class structure, reporting and classroom management.
6. Supervised first month
Your first month of classes is reviewed by a supervisor, who gives feedback to help you settle in.

Teacher Hiring Questions
Do I need an Ijazah to teach at QuranLearnify?
An Ijazah is preferred and required for tajweed, hifz and Ijazah program teachers. For Noorani Qaida and beginner reading classes, a relevant degree in Quranic or Islamic sciences with strong recitation skills can also qualify.
How and when do teachers get paid?
Teachers are paid monthly based on classes actually held, on a fixed schedule with no delays. Pay is competitive and reviewed as you take on more students and experience.
Can I teach part-time around another job or studies?
Yes. Most of our teachers set their own weekly availability. Many teach a handful of hours around study, another job or family responsibilities.
What equipment and internet do I need?
A laptop or computer with a working camera and microphone, a stable internet connection and a quiet room where you will not be interrupted during class.
How long does the hiring process take?
Most candidates complete the recitation test, teaching demo and background check within one to two weeks, followed by training before your first supervised classes.
