This policy explains what information QuranLearnify collects from students, parents and teachers, how we use it, who can see it, and the choices you have about your own data.
Information We Collect
We collect the information you give us directly, such as when you book a free trial, fill out our contact form, or apply for a teaching job. This includes the student's name and age, a parent or guardian's name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, country, course choice and teacher preference. Once classes begin, we also record class attendance, the days and times of scheduled classes, lesson notes written by the teacher, and payment details processed through our payment provider, which are never stored on our own servers. Our website also automatically records basic technical information, such as browser type, device type and IP address, for security and fraud prevention.
How We Use Your Information
We use this information to match a student with a suitable teacher, schedule and hold classes, send lesson notes and progress reports, process billing for paid plans, respond to your messages, and improve our courses and teacher training. We do not use student or parent information for any purpose beyond running and improving QuranLearnify's classes.
WhatsApp and Email Communication
We communicate with families and teachers primarily by WhatsApp and email: to confirm bookings, share lesson notes, send progress reports and answer support questions. You can ask us at any time to switch to email only, or to stop receiving non-essential messages, by contacting us at info@quranlearnify.com.
Children's Privacy
Many of our students are children. A parent or legal guardian always provides the student's information and manages the account, books classes and receives progress reports on the child's behalf. We do not knowingly collect information directly from a child without a parent or guardian first setting up the account and being present or reachable during class booking.
Class Recordings
Classes are not recorded by default. A recording is made only on request, for example when a parent asks for a specific class to be recorded for their own review, or when our quality team needs to review a class as part of a specific support issue. Any such recording is stored securely, accessible only to the people who need it for that purpose, and deleted once it is no longer needed.
How Long We Keep This Policy Under Review
As QuranLearnify adds new courses, tools or communication channels, we review this policy to make sure it still accurately describes what we collect and how we use it, rather than leaving it unchanged as our services evolve.
Who We Share Data With
A student's assigned teacher can see the student's first name, current level and lesson notes, which they need to teach effectively. Our payment processors receive only the information required to process a payment, and our email and WhatsApp providers handle only the messages needed to reach you. We do not sell, rent or trade student, parent or teacher information to any third party for marketing purposes.
International Data Transfers
Because QuranLearnify teaches students in more than 40 countries and works with teachers in different locations, information may be processed in a country other than your own. Wherever your information is processed, we apply the same privacy standards described in this policy.
Data Retention
We keep account, class and progress information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you return or need past records, such as a certificate or progress history. You can ask us to delete your data sooner, subject to any records we are required to keep for accounting purposes.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect the information we hold, including restricting access to staff who need it to do their jobs, using reputable, secure third-party providers for payments and communication tools, and reviewing who has access to sensitive records on a regular basis. No method of online storage or transmission is completely risk-free, but we work to reduce that risk wherever we can.
Your Rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Access the information we hold about you or your child.
- Correct anything in your account that is inaccurate or out of date.
- Delete your account and the associated data, subject to records we must keep for accounting purposes.
- Object to a specific use of your information, such as a type of communication.

Cookies and Analytics
Our website uses cookies and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and which course pages are most helpful. This information is aggregated and is not used to identify individual visitors personally.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time as our services or legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and continued use of QuranLearnify after an update means you accept the revised policy.
