Founded in 2021 by Teachers Who Saw the Problem First-Hand
QuranLearnify began in 2021, started by a small group of huffaz (Muslims who have memorized the entire Quran) and experienced Quran teachers. Several of them were already teaching relatives and family friends abroad over video calls and kept hearing the same story from parents in the USA and UK: there were not enough qualified Quran teachers nearby, weekend masjid classes were crowded and infrequent, and driving a child across town after a full school day left everyone exhausted before the lesson even began.
The founders set out to build a proper academy rather than a loose network of freelance tutors: written hiring standards, ongoing supervision and real accountability to every parent and adult student. What started as a handful of live classes has grown into an online Quran academy of 60+ certified male and female teachers who have taught 3,500+ students in more than 40 countries, while keeping the same one-on-one teaching model the founders believed in on day one.

Our classes are never a video the student watches alone and never a group call where five children take turns for a few minutes each. Every lesson is a live, one-on-one video session where the teacher shares the Qaida or Quran on screen, listens to every word the student recites, and corrects pronunciation the moment it happens.

Application
Candidates submit credentials: Ijazah, a degree in Quranic sciences or a recognized madrasah qualification, plus teaching history.
Recitation Test
A senior qari or hafiz listens to the candidate recite and checks tajweed, makharij and fluency against our standard.
Teaching Demo
The candidate teaches a mock lesson to a supervisor, who scores clarity, patience and how well they explain a rule.
Background Check
Identity, references and conduct are verified before any candidate is allowed near a student, especially a child.
Training
Approved candidates complete our online-teaching training: platform tools, working with children, lesson pacing and reporting.
Supervised First Month
New teachers are monitored closely for their first month, with recordings reviewed and feedback given before they teach solo.
